The Mountain Art Guild, Inc. (MAGI) is an organization of visual artists and craftsmen. Office/studios are in Bachman Community Center in Signal Mountain, TN. MAGI hosts art workshops for adult artists, sponsors art exhibits and offers an open painting day for artists working in dry or water-based media. Past workshops have been taught by: Sandra Paynter Washburn (experimental watermedia), Susan Doubleday (Pastel), Anne Bagby (mixed media) and others. Adult visual artists working in dry or water-based mediums are invited to join us on Thursdays at Bachman Community Center, 10 am – 3 pm, for a day of painting with friends. No Teacher, no pressure. We all look at each other’s work and learn from each other. Bring your lunch. There is a minimal charge for the use of the room. Contact us through this blog.
